'Supernatural,' 'Smallville' get ready to roll: Premiere dates have been set for the three shows that make up the genre schedule for The CW.
"Supernatural" will return Sept. 10 at 9 p.m. ET, its usual Thursday timeslot, but with a new companion. "Smallville" moves to Fridays, and will premiere a few weeks later, Sept. 25, at 8 p.m. ET.
Taking its place is "The Vampire Diaries," which will premiere the same night as "Supernatural," but just beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
Friday has been known as a death slot for TV shows, but it seems it will be a busy night for both The CW and Fox as "Dollhouse" from Joss Whedon will be hanging around there as well. -- [The CW]
More and more premieres: Oh yeah, we're all full of premiere dates this week.
"Dollhouse" is slated to make its second season premiere Sept. 18. No longer having "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" as a lead-in, "Dollhouse" instead is going to get ... comedies. Both "Brothers" and "Til Death" will also premiere that night, beginning at 8 p.m.
"Fringe," as previously reported, is moving to Thursdays for its second season. It will premiere Sept. 17 following "Bones." -- [TV Week]
